I am Nathan and I am 7 years old. I am showing Floppy Ears, my pig, at the Kent County Youth Fair. Floppy Ears is my third pig I am taking to fair to show in both market and showman ship. Floppy Ears is a Duroc burrow, and I love him. Last year I placed 3rd in my market division and I would like to get another ribbon. Last year I had the runt of the litter and we just barley made weight and this year I choose a fat pig and his weekly check ins are really good. I learned a lot

I am Logan and I am 12 years old. This is my 2026 fair project - Peppa a Duroc Gilt Pig. He is my first pig that I will be showing at fair. I have shown 2 feeder steers the past two years but with the cost of beef currently (wow, it cost a lot), I had to make a decision on how I wanted to spend my last years earnings for this years fair project. While I miss training and raising a steer, I want to try my hand at showing a pig. Pigs are cute, but they are also a lot of work. C
